BIOLOGICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAM INTEGRATION CENTER (BioEPIC) SCIENCE BUILDING- UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA LAWRENCE BERKLEY NATIONAL LABORATORY (LBNL) - CLARK CONSTRUCTION

The 73,000-square-foot laboratory is part of the Department of Energy’s Strategic Laboratory Initiative.  The building will feature wet and dry labs as well as warm and cold rooms to support the research of approximately 200 researchers, staff scientists, engineers, postdoctoral fellows, student assistants, and administrative staff. The new facility will allow the university to consolidate complementary programs within the bioscience and environmental science departments.

BIOSOLIDS DIGESTERS FACILITIES - MWH WEBCOR JV

Harris Hoisting is providing operators for two Luffing Tower Cranes, which has never been used on the West Coast.  The Biosolids Digester Facilities Project (BDFP) will replace and relocate the outdated existing solids treatment facilities with more reliable, efficient, and modern technologies and facilities.  The new facilities will produce a higher quality biosolids, capture and treat odors more effectively, and maximize biogas utilization and energy recovery. In addition, the project will locate the digesters farther away from existing residences and make visual improvements in and around the Southeast Treatment Plant.

921 HOWARD - SWINERTON BUILDER

921 Howard will be a Type 1A, 18-story 100% affordable housing high-rise with 203 apartments and ground-floor retail. Scope includes amenity space on the 2nd floor, a shared landscaped terrace on the 3rd floor, laundry facilities, and bike parking space. This project is aiming to meet GreenPoint Rated (GPR) standards, a green building designation for residential projects in California.

BALBOA PARK - CAHILL  

Located in the Outer Mission neighborhood of San Francisco on a .71 acre parcel that was formerly a city-owned lot adjacent to the Balboa Park Area Rapid Transit Station (BART), Balboa Park Upper Yard will be an affordable, mixed-use, transit-oriented development with 131 apartments for low- and very low-income families. The 9-story building will have approximately 10,000 square feet of retail space along Geneva and San Jose Avenues, consisting of five commercial spaces that will include a childcare facility, family wellness community resource center and bicycle repair and youth bicycle education facility operation by local non-profit PODER.
