Located in the Outer Mission neighborhood of San Francisco on a .71 acre parcel that was formerly a city-owned lot adjacent to the Balboa Park Area Rapid Transit Station (BART), Balboa Park Upper Yard will be an affordable, mixed-use, transit-oriented development with 131 apartments for low- and very low-income families. The 9-story building will have approximately 10,000 square feet of retail space along Geneva and San Jose Avenues, consisting of five commercial spaces that will include a childcare facility, family wellness community resource center and bicycle repair and youth bicycle education facility operation by local non-profit PODER.
